Steps to $uccess

Murraylands Enterprise Estate (MEE) is recognised for its unique form of collaboration, values and principles by which they operate.  Member businesses were unable to attract apprentices, trainees and employees to fill industry vacancies and acknowledged the need to implement strategies to overcome these difficulties.

This partnership of businesses successfully working together has enabled the development and implementation of the fully monitored and assessed work experience, skill/career development and training program "Steps to $uccess". In November 2005 "Steps to $uccess" was awarded the Regional SA Great Riverland/Murraylands Innovation Award.

This initiative is designed to assist the mature aged, youth, indigenous and people with special needs.

In 2010 "Steps to $uccess" was conducted as a pilot program engaging host businesses outside of the Estate membership.  This enabled an even broader scope of opportunities for unemployed participants.

The program continues to support participants in 2011.

Applicants will be received from secondary schools, employment and other relevant government agencies.
